On 13 December at 12.00 the third digitalhumanities.lv seminar "DARIAH Campus: What's in it for You!" by dr. Vicky Garnett will be held on the Zoom platform. The seminar is organised in cooperation with ClarinLV and DARIAH EU.
The event will be moderated by Haralds Matulis, Digital Humanities Researcher at ILFA.
Working language - English.

Pre-registration for the event is required:
https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUkfuCurTgoGNE0PYACrAdB8VKDr4zknarp
Meeting ID: 819 9963 3225
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with an active Zoom link to attend the event.

About what to expect at this seminar:
In this presentation, Vicky Garnett, DARIAH-EU's Training and Education Officer, will discuss the broad landscape of online learning and training provision for Digital Humanities.  She will then focus specifically on DARIAH Campus, and how this meets the needs of various user-types across the European Digital Arts and Humanities community.
About Vicky Garnett: she is the Training and Education Officer for DARIAH-EU, the European digital research infrastructure for the arts and humanities.  Within her role, Vicky manages the DARIAH Campus platform, as well as participating in projects such as EOSC-Futures and CLS-Infra.  Her previous roles include developing, editing and managing the PARTHENOS Training Suite and the training content within it as part of the PARTHENOS-EU project, and evaluating user needs as part of the Europeana-Cloud project.  She also ran the one-off 3-day 'International Spatial Humanities Camp' (iSHCamp) workshop in 2018, and is currently a co-chair in the UK/Ireland Digital Humanities Association 'Protecting the Investigator in Traumatic Research Areas" community interest group. Vicky has both a PhD and an MPhil in Linguistics, both from Trinity College Dublin, and a BA Hons in English Language and Linguistics from Lancaster University: a mono-disciplined background that, in her own words, shows "either a life-long passion for the subject, or a complete lack of imagination!".
