BSSDH2025 takes place at the University of Latvia's new Academic Center – House of Science. This exceptional, spacious, and luminous venue has been generously made available by the University of Latvia.

Tram No. 1, 2, 5, 10 – stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" + 10 minute walk

Drinking Water
Free drinking water is available on the 1st floor, near the kitchen. You are welcome to refill your own bottle.
Getting around Rīga
▪️ The summer school venue (House of Science) is just a short walk (about 7 minutes) from the National Library.
▪️ For public transport:
- Use an e-talons ticket (1.50 EUR), available at Narvesen kiosks. Don’t forget to validate it when boarding.
- The Mobilly app is a convenient alternative for buying tickets for buses, trams, and even regional trains.
▪️ For taxis: We recommend using the Bolt app instead of hailing a taxi on the street. It’s reliable, widely used, and shows the price in advance.

Emergencies
During the summer school, the organising team will be present on site at all times, and the registration desk will remain open throughout the event. You’ll be able to recognise organisers by their yellow name badge ribbons.
